BIOGRAPHY /BIOGRAPHIE
Cindy Bearce was born in the United States and currently resides in the South of France. An exhibiting artist since the 1970's, she studied under figurative artist, Mel Leipzig, and received an M.F.A at Pratt Institute while studying under artists Nan Benedict, and George McNeill. Her work is figurative and influenced by Mel Leipzig as well as artists Edward Hopper, Fairfield Porter, Neil Welliver and David Hockney. Her work encompasses drawings, pastels and paintings. She has worked and exhibited in the United States, Paris and the South of France.
Cindy Bearce est née aux États-Unis et réside actuellement dans le sud de la France. Artiste exposante depuis les années 1970, elle a étudié auprès de l'artiste figuratif Mel Leipzig et plus tard avec les artistes Nan Benedict et George McNeill au Pratt Institute où elle a reçu un MFA. Son travail est figuratif et influencé par Mel Leipzig ainsi que par les artistes Edward Hopper, Fairfield Porter, Neil Welliver et David Hockney. Il englobe aussi des dessins, des pastels et des peintures. Elle a travaillé et exposé aux États-Unis, à Paris et dans le sud de la France.
